Congratulations to board member Robin Speed for his Order of Australia
Sydney Blood Cancer Research Institute would like to congratulate our board member Mr Robin Speed for being recognised in the Queen’s Birthday 2019 Honours list for a Medal in the Order of Australia for his service to the law and charities in particular for the Rule of Law Institute Australia.
Speed and Stracey Lawyers has a long history of promoting the principles of the rule of law. They believe the law should be applied equally and fairly so that no one, not even the government or elected officials are above the law. They believe that all people should be presumed innocent and that no one is subject adversely to retrospective changes of the law. With this is mind, Robin Speed established the Rule of Law Institute Australia in 2009.
Robin is passionate about the rule of law with fairness and justice for all Australians. He has written about his work and the need to continually foster the rule of law within Australia.
We congratulate Robin for his fine leadership and immense wisdom in his services to the law and charities.
