Dr Bryant was awarded a Brian D. Novis International Myeloma Foundation Junior Researcher Grant

Dr Bryant will receive this prestigious international grant at the American Society of Haematology conference in San Diego in December 2018. It has been awarded to pursue work exploring T cells in the blood and bone marrow of patients with Multiple Myeloma using new advanced techniques including time-of-flight mass spectrometry and single cell sequencing. This work aims to discover why these cells are switched off when Myeloma progresses and develop ways to remove the breaks on the immune system.
