New Artwork at RPAH by Mary Lou Pavlovic.
We are excited to showcase the latest creation by our patient, Mary Lou Pavlovic, who recently completed an Artist in Residence program at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The artwork, titled Interconnected Progressions, features the use of synthetic ballistic/medical gelatin and medicinal flowers: cornflower, Madagascan periwinkle and impatiens.
Mary Lou explains that the gelatin simulates the human body, even exhibiting a wobble, adding an intriguing element to the piece. This innovative artwork beautifully bridges the worlds of art and medicine, reflecting the resilience and beauty of life.
Many thanks to Mary Lou for sharing her artistic talents with us!
